Carrot JuiceUse a blender to make this refreshing and healthy beverage.

Strain the juice if you like, but it’s healthiest to serve as-is.

 

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium carrots (about 8 oz. or 250 g)
  • 2 cups (about 1/2 liter) orange juice
  • sugar, to taste (optional)
  • orange flower water (optional)
  • ice (optional)

Preparation:

Peel the carrots and cut them into thick slices.

In a blender, process the carrots and about half of the orange juice for 30 seconds on high speed, until smooth. Add the remaining juice, sugar to taste and ice, and process again to blend well.

For traditional flavor, stir in a small amount (about 1/2 teaspoon per glass) of orange flower water.

Pour into glasses, and serve.
